Jim Schmidt will be coaching his 6th season at Hebron. the team will compete in the Northwest Indiana Soccer Conference for the 4th year. The girls won a school record 7 games last season. The girls opened the season with a 6-2 win over Hammond Clark. Katy Schmidt scored 5 goals in the game. Brittany Largent scored the other goal in the game. Rachel McCullough and Rachel Pauer each had an assist in the game. Kaylie Asher had 6 saves in goal. Katy Schmidt scored a goal and Rachel McCullough had an assist in a 5-1 loss to Wheeler. Kaylie Asher made 14 saves in goal. The team beat Rensselaer 2-0 behind 2 goals from Paige Hickenbottom. Katy Schmidt added 2 assists while Kaylie Asher had 1 save in the shutout. Kaylie Asher made 6 saves in a 4-0 loss to Boone Grove. The girls got back in the win column with a 2-1 win over Covenant Christian. Rachel McCullough and Dani Heath each scored a goal. Assists came from Katy Schmidt and Rachel Pauer, while Kaylie Asher had 7 saves. Hebron beat Hammond High 5-0. Katy Schmidt scored 4 goals and had 1 assist. Rachel Pauer had the other goal and also had an assist. Kaylie Asher had 3 saves. Katy Schmidt scored a goal in an 8-1 loss to Griffith. Hebron beat Westville 3-1 behind 2 goals from Rachel Pauer. Paige Hickenbottom had the other goal and Kaylie Asher had 8 saves. The girls beat Lowell 3-2. The win against Lowell is the first in 10 games all-time. Hebron beat Michigan City Marquette 2-0 to finish the Northern Indiana Soccer Conference season with a 3-4 record. The team fell to Boone Grove 5-0 in the sectional.
