2012 SEASON Hebron is the defending PCC round robin and PCC meet champions. The team finished 2nd in the Rensselaer sectional last season. The boys started the season by beating LaCrosse and Covenant Christian. Blake Wallace (100, 200) and Jasen Egolf (800, 1600) each got 2 individual wins. All three relays also placed 1st. Other event winners were Eric Barzycki (pv), Brad Blank (hj), Kyle Schmidt (3200) and Alex Shrum (110 H). Jasen broke 1992 graduate Bill Centifanto's career record of 91 1st place finishes. The team beat knox with wins in the 400 and 1600 relays. Blake Wallace led the way with wins in the 100, 200 and long jump. Alex Shrum won the pole vault and 110 hurdles. Jasen Egolf (800), David Lucas (3200), Ryan Patz (400) and Kyle Schmidt (1600) each won events. Jasen Egolf went over the 600 career point mark which is 1st all-time. The boys lost to River Forest 58-56 for their 1st loss since they lost to River Forest in 2010. Alex Shrum won both hurdle races. Brad Blank won the 400, Jasen Egolf won the 800, and Kyle Schmidt won the 1600. Hanover broke Hebron's 15 meet PCC win streak dating back to 2009. The team beat Morgan in the double dual to move to 2-1 in the PCC. Jasen Egolf won the 800 and 1600. Alex Shrum won the pole vault and Blake Wallace won the 100. Alex went over the 400 career point mark to 414.5 which ranks 20th at Hebron. The boys lost to Washington and beat Boone Grove to bring their record to 3-2 in the PCC. Brad Blank got 4 firsts including the 400, high jump and was a member of the winning 1600 relay and 3200 relay. Jasen Egolf won the 800 and was on the relay teams. Ryan Patz won the discus. Alex Shrum won the pole vault. Blake Wallace joined the century club by scoring 100 points this season. Hebron finished 2nd at the Kouts Invitational. Kyle Schmidt won the 3200 and Alex Shrum won the pole vault. Alex went over 100 points for the season. Alex moved up to 14th on the career point list with 448.5. The boys beat Kouts and South Central to finish the PCC round robin at 5-2.
