Kelly Dickensheets is coaching her 19th girls varsity season. The girls opened the season with a win over Rensselaer. Brittany Long had 12 kills and 9 digs to lead the team. Lauren Carlson added 9 kills and 3 blocks and Lauren Alsop had 8 kills and 10 digs. Natalie Kaczmarski had 3 aces and Ashlyn Wheeler had 23 assists. Lauren Alsop had 7 kills and 6 digs in a loss to North Newton. Lauren Carlson added 5 kills and Katie Clemens had 3 aces. GIRLS 3-1 AT O-D TOURNEY The team finished 2nd at the Oregon-Davis tournament with a 3-1 record. Hayley Marshall led the way with 34 kills and 3 blocks. Brittany Long added 19 kills and Lauren Carlson 13 kills. Ashlyn Wheeler had 53 assists and 4 aces, Lauren Alsop had 8 aces and 25 digs and Taylor Olson had 11 digs. The girls opened the PCC season with a win over South Central. Hayley Marshall had 12 kills, Natalie Kaczmarski 4 aces, Ashlyn Wheeler 35 assists, Brittany Long 9 kills, Taylor Olson 11 digs and Lauren Alsop 8 kills and 8 digs. TEAM 3-0 AT COVENANT CHRISTIAN TOURNAMENT The team beat Culver Academy, LaCrosse and Covenant Christian in the 1st Covenant Christian Tournament to raise their record to 8-2. DICKENSHEETS GETS 600th WIN The win against Covenant Christian was the 600th varsity win for coach Kelly Dickensheets at Hebron. D now has 275 wins in girls volleyball to go along with 278 wins in boys volleyball and 47 wins in girls track. The girls finished 6th at the Kankakee Valley Tourney. The team lost to Winimac, Kankakee Valley, and North Judson and beat Hammond Morton. Hebron lost to Wheeler in 3 games. Lauren Alsop had 17 digs, 7 kills and 3 aces. Lauren Carlson had 5 kills and 12 blocks, Ashlyn Wheeler had 3 aces and 18 assists. The girls beat Morgan in 5 games. The team was down 14-11 in the 5th game when Katie Clemens went back to serve and Hebron took the lead 15-14. Lauren Carlson had 14 kills and 2 block kills, Lauren Alsop had 11 kills and 13 digs and Ashlyn Wheeler had 22 assists. Hebron lost its first PCC game to Washington twp
