ALL-STATE
Carl was a two-time All-State performer in the discus. He finished 8th as a junior and 7th as a senior at the state meet to earn All-State honors. In 1994, Carl also was a state qualifier and finished 23rd. Carl was the sectional champion in 1994, 1995, and 1996. He also was a regional qualifier in 1993 as a freshman.
