Hebron is the 2-time defending PCC round robin and PCC meet champions.

The girls opened the season by beating LaCrosse and Covenant Christian.  Paige Hickenbottom had 3 individual 1st place finishes.  Paige had the 3rd fastest 200m (27.0), 11th longest long jump (15' 11") and the 16th fastest 100m (13.4) in school history.  Brittany Long won the pole vault with the 9th highest jump (7' 6") in school history.  Jordan Hanaway also had 2 wins (800m and 1600m).

PAIGE HICKENBOTTOM BREAKS 400m RECORD IN WIN OVER KNOX

Hebron beat Knox behind a strong day by Paige Hickenbottom.  Paige broke the 400m record with a time of 1:00.2.  The old record of 1:01 was set by Crystal Duffala in 2001.  Paige also had the 2nd longest long jump in school history (16' 8") and won the 200m.  Jordan Hanaway and Rachelle Cook also won 2 events in the meet.

HICKENBOTTOM SETS 100m RECORD

The team beat River Forest to remain unbeaten.  Paige Hickenbottom ran a 12.7 in the 100m to break the record of 13.0 set by Erica Thurner in 1993.  Paige also ran the 5th fastest 200m time at 27.2, as well as winning the long jump and 400m.  Hebron won 13 of the 16 events in the meet.

Hebron beat Hanover Central and Morgan twp in PCC action.  Paige Hickenbottom went over 100 points for the season to join the century club.

HICKENBOTTOM BREAKS ANOTHER RECORD

The girls moved to 8-0 and 5-0 in the PCC with wins over Boone Grove and Washington twp.  Paige Hickenbottom continued her assault on the record books by breaking the 200m in a time of 26.7.  The old record was 26.90 set by Crystal Duffala in 2001.  Paige also ran the 4th fastest 400m and also won the long jump. 

KOUTS INVITE CHAMPIONS

The girls won the Kouts Invitational with 130 points.  The team won its 3rd Kouts Invite championship after finishing 2nd the last 3 years.  First place finishers for Hebron were Paige Hickenbottom (200m, 400m, long jump), Ashley Spurr (shot put) and the 1600 relay team of Alix shircliff, Paige Hickenbottom, Laura MacNeill and Bre Lewin.  Ashley's throw of 34' 9" is the 3rd farthest in school history.  Paige lowered her school record in the 400m to 59.97.  Rachelle Cook joined the century club during the meet by amassing over 100 points on the season.

PCC ROUND ROBIN CHAMPIONS, NEW LONG JUMP RECORD

Hebron beat Kouts and South Central to finish the PCC round robin with a 7-0 record and win the title for the 3rd consecutive year.  Paige Hickenbottom broke her 4th school record of the season with a jump of 17' 1" breaking the old record of 16' 11.75" set in 1996 by Jill Rakoczy.  Jordan Hanaway joined the century club during the meet.

WASHINGTON RELAYS CHAMPIONS!!! NEW 800 relay record

The girls added another trophy to their list of accomplishments this season by scoring 118 points to win the Washington twp relays.  The team won 11 of the 12 events, coming up 0.9 seconds short of sweeping every event.   The 800 relay team ran a 1:58 to break the record of 2:02.4 set in 1993. The shuttle hurdle team had the 7th best time in school history.  The sprint medley team was 0.3 seconds behind the school record.  The distance medley team had the 9th best time in school history.  Laura MacNeill and Bri Lewin both made the century club in the meet.

PCC MEET CHAMPIONS, 12 ALL-CONFERENCE

Paige Hickenbottom set a meet record and Ashley Spurr set a school record to lead Hebron to their 3rd consecutive PCC meet championship.  All-conference athletes were Paige Hickenbottom 200m, Paige 400m (PCC meet record), Paige long jump, Ashley Spurr shot put 36 ft 1 in school record, 1600 relay team of Hickenbottom, Laura MacNeill, Alix Shircliff, and Bre Lewin, and 3200 relay team of Trisha Hanlon, MacNeill, Jordan Hanaway, and Emily DeFries.  Paige broke the 2nd oldest PCC girls meet record by running a 1:00.66 in the 400m.  The old record was set in 1982 by Jolene Angle of Washington twp (1:01.6).  Ashley broke Kelli Matheny's shot put record of 34' 10.5" set in 2008.  Emma Hamann joined the century club in the meet.

GIRLS PLACE 2nd IN SECTIONAL

Hebron scored 99 points to finish second at the KV sectional.  Paige Hickenbottom was the sectional champion in the 100m (13.59) and the 400m (1:01.20) and the 1600m relay team of Bri Lewin, Laura MacNeill, Alix Shircliff, and Paige Hickenbottom also placed first.  Other regional qualifiers were:  Jordan Hanaway 1600m (3rd 5:40.43), Hanaway 800m (3rd 2:37.55), Hickenbottom long jump (2nd 15' 0", Kristin St. Germain high jump (3rd 4' 10"), Hayley Lindemer discus (2nd 103' 6"), Ashley Spurr shot put (2nd 34' 11"), Christy Reick pole vault (4th 8' 6") and the 3200 relay team of Jordan Hanaway, Laura MacNeill, Trisha Hanlon, and Emily DeFries (4th 10:40.89).  Paige Hickenbottom broke Liz Bennett's single season point total of 281 by scoring 300.5 points this season.

1600m RELAY RECORD IN REGIONAL

The girls ended one of the best seasons in the history of the school with several great performances in the Chesterton regional.  The 1600m relay team of Bri Lewin, Laura MacNeill, Alix Shircliff, and Paige Hickenbottom broke the school record by 3 seconds (4:14.4) and finished 9th.  Other all-time top 20 performances in the meet were: the 3200m relay team of Jordan Hanaway, Emily DeFries, Laura MacNeill, and Trisha Hanlon ran the 17th fastest time (10:39) and finished 10th, Christy Reick pole vaulted the 4th highest (8' 7") and finished 11th, Paige Hickenbottom ran the 3rd fastest 400 time to finish 8th, Paige also long jumped the 3rd longest (16' 11.5") to finish 8th, Ashley Spurr threw the shot the 16th farthest (33' 3") and finished 12th.
