Mike DeFries will be coaching his 6th season at Hebron. The boys won the PCC meet and the PCC round robin last year. The team also advanced to the regional. Bryce Hanaway and Brad Blank teamed up to finish 3rd at the KV Hokum Karem in a time of 35:55. NORTH WHITE INVITE CHAMPIONS The boys defended their North White Invite championship with a team score of 59 points. Jasen Egolf led the way in 2nd place with the 4th fastest time in school history (17:12). Kyle Schmidt followed in 6th place (18:07, 9th fastest), Brad Blank (11th) and Bryce Hanaway (12th). Jasen Egolf finished 4th at the Valpo Invite to lead the team to a 3rd place finish. Jasen set a new school record for this meet with a time of 17:30, he broke is own record of 17:55 set last year. The boys ran in the big school division of the Hammond Gavit Invitational as an incomplete team. Jasen Egolf led the team with a 4th place finish in a time of 17:02 which was 1 second slower than his own record that he set in last years meet. Hebron lost to Lowell 41-19. Jasen Egolf led the team in 2nd place (17:25) followed by Kyle Schmidt 7th (18:42) and Bryce Hanaway 9th (19:05) in the top ten. The boys opened the PCC season with wins over Boone Grove and South Central. Jasen Egolf was the winner (16:55) followed by Kyle Schmidt (3rd), Bryce Hanaway (5th), Giovanni Phan (7th), David Lucas (8th), Tyler Keehn (12th), Eric Brebner (13th) and Ryan Witt (14th). Jasen's time was the 2nd fastest (16:49) PCC round robin time at the Boone Grove course.
