PCC ALL-SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Porter County Conference was formed prior to the 1958-59 school year. One of the championships offered by the PCC was

an all-sports trophy. The all-sports trophy is awarded to the school that finishes the highest in the standings in every sport. When

the conference started girls sports in 1974-75, the all-sports trophy was also part of the championship package.

The point system that is used is as follows:

Volleyball, Basketball, Baseball, Softball

ROUND ROBIN PLACES

1st place = 16 points, 2nd place = 14 points, 3rd place = 12 points, 4th place = 10 points, 5th place = 8 points, 6th place = 6 points,

7th place = 4 points, 8th place = 2 points

CROSS COUNTY AND TRACK

2 SETS OF POINTS ARE AWARDED, ONE FOR THE ROUND ROBIN STANDINGS AND ONE FOR THE PCC MEET STANDINGS

1st place = 8 points, 2nd place = 7 points, 3rd place = 6 points, 4th place = 5 points, 5th place = 4 points, 6th place = 3 points,

7th place = 2 points, 8th place = 1 point
