• Boys basketball was one of the four original sports offered by the Porter County Conference.

• A PCC tournament has been played every year.

• A round robin championship is contested every year.

• Boys Basketball is an IHSAA four class sport.

• The all-conference team is currently made up by the top 12 vote getters, voted on by the conference coaches.

• A mental attitude award has been given out every year at the PCC tournament.

• The mental attitude award was first called the Gold Ball Award.

• The mental attitude award was named the M.E. Dinsmoore Award starting in the 1962-63 season.
