Girls volleyball was added to the Porter County Conference in the fall of the 1973-74 school year.   
A PCC tournament was first held in 1975.
The round robin championship has been contested every year.  
Girls volleyball is an IHSAA four class sport.
The All-Conference team is currently made up by the top 12 vote getters, voted on by the coaches.
A mental attitude award has been given out since 1978.  
Sandra K. Flohr has been honored by having the mental attitude award named for her, starting in 1996.
