Girls volleyball was added to the Porter County Conference in the fall of the 1973-74 school year.

The round robin championship has been held every year. The PCC tournament started in 1975.

Girls volleyball is an IHSAA four class sport.

The All-Conference team is made up by the top vote getters, voted on by the PCC coaches.

A mental attitude award has been given out since 1978. The award was named for Sandra K. Flohr in 1996.
