Boys cross country was one of the four original sports offered by the Porter County Conference.

A PCC meet has been run every year. The round robin championship started in 1968.

Boys cross country is an IHSAA single class sport.

The All-Conference team is made up by the top finishers in the PCC meet.

A mental attitude award has been given out since 1978.
